Yeah, I kinda agree with you all. The game is getting boring. I got all the stuff i need. godly weapons, superior runes. SUddenly, there is no meaning left in the game. One day I found myself playing CSS again. They better update the darn game, and fast. People are quitting the game as we speak.

And yeah, why did they started with the French?

Sad enough to say I'm getting bored too, all I really do now is farm just because I'm bored of the same missions over and over again. I guess I can go UW or fissure......too bad I can't dedicate 10 hours of my time to A. Find a good group to go down there B. Use the rest of that time to attempt to beat UW or fissure *coughdropsarecrapcough*.

I enjoy my ranger, and my necro. I've unlocked all the skills for the warrior, necromancer, mesmer, and elementist on one character...and now I've unlocked all the ranger skills with another (whose secondaries both times were of those whose skills I already had)

Only skills I don't have are the monk skills, and I don't care about being a monk.

Slowly moving back to DoD. PvP in this game is alright...but I don't see how anyone can play it for a long period of time, there's just absolutely no motivation to PvP.

Well, I'm not up to my umteenth charactor or anything but this game definately has it's limitations. I cannot play for more than a couple of hours.

I often wonder if a casual players MMO or MMORPG is even possible. Any game that is good is going to be played to death and hardcore gamers can play through it really fast.

What is interesting is people who have played through the game and want to play another character tend to want to skip (or make it easier)the parts they dislike only to make the game even shorter.

If that's true, well done.

If you want a challenge I suppose you can get into PvP, get to #1 on the Ladder, get to rank 9 and a sweet tiger head fame emote and win the favor of the gods for our PvE siblings to get access to FOW and UW. If you like PvP that is.

I agree that having something to do for characters who finished the storyline would be nice. Like having more useless money sinks like the 15k armor...

Or some areas with truely random PvE encounters to keep the challenge up. Like the PvP arenas, just for PvE.

The PvP aspect could be developed further, too. Maybe more tournament houses like the HoH just with different kinds of rewards. I like the large scale war idea mentioned above, too.

PvP just doesn't get boring for me. Whether I am playing serious or just messing around with different builds in tombs it is pretty much always fun for me. PvE in guildwars is pretty easy to outsmart. The game is obviously a pvp game because of how balanced out the classes are and such. Someone posted about the french tournament I think. There is another tournament that is open to registration.
